SERVE ON A CAREER PATHWAY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
PSD's CTE advisory committees are made up of individuals from industry and post-secondary to collaborate with educators on the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of CTE pathways. These committees are an invaluable part of preparing PSD students for high-wage, in-demand careers. These committees meet twice per year.
PROVIDE WORK-BASED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Xello is a regional online Work-Based Learning platform that helps bridge the gap between K-12 education and career opportunities. Partnering businesses and organizations can use Xello to be an active partner in providing work-based learning opportunities for students to help build workplace readiness skills.
SERVE AS A VOLUNTEER IN OUR SCHOOLS
We appreciate your interest in volunteering with the Poudre School District. With 53 schools and over 30,000 students, our district offers many opportunities to volunteer. We are grateful for your help in supporting students, staff, and teachers!
PROVIDE A SUMMER EXTERNSHIP FOR TEACHERS
The Externship Program is designed to provide a paid opportunity for educators to work with local businesses to gain additional expertise in their content area. Educators also learn about academic pathways into these sectors and industries, updated practices, trends, and bring this knowledge into practice in ways to tangibly impact students.
