About

Poudre School District opened The Future Ready Center in September 2023 at the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins, 215 E Foothills pkwy suite 510 Fort Collins Co 80525. We are a resource center for all the programs happening across the district, a community hub and a centrally-located large-scale meeting space that is front-facing to the community in the city of Fort Collins.  Students, families and community members, we encourage you to stop by Monday - Friday anytime between 8am - 5pm to learn about all the programs PSD has to offer. Students feel empowered knowing they have choices in high school that lead to meaningful options after graduation, whether 2-year college, 4-year college, apprenticeship, workforce, or military.  You can find more information about these college and career ready programs:

Career & Technical Education (CTE) helps prepare students who want to embark on a career trajectory while still in high school. Students can explore from over 18 pathways, each with three to four sequenced courses. Students can enter a pathway or explore at any point in their 6th-12th grade journey, there are very few prerequisites. Students that choose to take multiple courses within a pathway may have the oppotunity to earn industry certifications and college credit while still in high school. All pathways offer the opportunity to connect with future employers through work-based learning experiences like career tours, job shadowing and internships.

Engage in a CTE pathway and you’ll be ready – ready for a career, ready for a job, ready for college and ready for the future.

  • Prepare for a range of in demand, high-skill and high-wage careers.
  • Earn college credits – including an associate’s degree – and save money down the road.
  • Explore jobs in agriculture, cybersecurity, health science, business and marketing and more.
  • Learn to work as a team, meet deadlines and solve real-world problems through PSD courses, apprenticeships and internships.
  • Form lasting relationships with business mentors and future employers.
  • Gain academic knowledge, technical skills and industry certifications to set you apart.
