Vision

With career education in mind, middle school CTE (Career and Technical Education) courses are exploratory in nature, focused on connection to career possibilities, and assist students to obtain connection to self, while experiencing an all-encompassing ‘wheel’ of career cluster exposure.

Course Description
In this course, students will explore basic principles of both the construction and manufacturing career fields. They will engage in math coursework assessing shapes, design, measurements, and cost analysis, which will then be applied in the lab. Lab time will focus on these applications, as well as safety techniques and basic knowledge of appropriate tool utilization to create usable products.
