Course Description
Discover the magic of theatre in Introduction to Technical Theatre Production. Students will gain hands-on experience in the art of bringing performances to life as they explore: Performance skills, Scene study and analysis, Set design and construction, Prop design and construction, Costume and Makeup design, Sound and Lighting design. Students will participate in a fully staged production as an actor and/or as part of the technical crew. Through collaborative projects and exposure to industry-standard equipment, this class offers a solid foundation for those interested in pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. This class is offered as part of the CTE middle school pathway.
