Wildland Fire Certificate *REQUIRED* Orientation

Juniors and seniors, as well as PSD ASCENT students, are invited to take this 40-hour intensive course over two weekends to obtain the industry-required trainings to be a wildland firefighter (S-130 and S-190). Upon completion of the course, students can take the certificate test free-of-charge, and when passed, will qualify to apply for jobs as a wildland firefighter. The course will be co-taught by a PSD counselor and an NWCG-certified trainer (member of the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control).
